Centrally located in the rolling hills of Leicester on the Northwest outskirts of Asheville, NC. 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, 25 minutes from Biltmore House, 25 minutes from downtown Waynesville, 30 minutes from Maggie Valley, 30 minutes from Hot Springs, and many other spectacular areas. You can go skiing, swimming, hot springs dipping, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, shopping, "art-walking," flea-marketing, or whatever else that suits your fancy and come back to a spectacular log home on a working farm that houses unique animals such a llamas and angora goats.

Handbuilt pottery, spinning wool, knitting, felting, jewelry making, are just some of the craft classes you can take while staying on the farm. Classes are available for all ages during your stay. Arrangements can be made upon check-in.

You will stay on the farm in a completely furnished hand-hewn hemlock log cabin that sleeps 6 adults comfortably, up to 8 with children. The central part of the cabin is a large great room with a wood-burning fireplace where everyone can gather. The cabin is equipped with a large fully supplied kitchen (food not included), linens, washer/dryer, heat and AC, two full baths, fireplace, cable TV, VCR, local phone service, large porches with views where you can sit and rock, and a hot tub to soak in under the stars. It is fully equipped to supply you with every comfort to ensure you a wonderful vacation.
